Who we are
Programming Car Pro LLC is a Florida automotive technology business operated by Jesús Terán. We provide mobile automotive diagnostics and programming services in Miami-Dade and Broward, remote module programming support, automotive key services, and professional automotive diagnostic equipment. We do not operate a walk-in repair shop.

Information we collect
- Account information you provide: full name, email, phone number, business / shop name, NASTF VSP ID (optional), and shipping address when you place an order.
- Vehicle and session data: VINs you decode, search history, programming session details (vehicle, software, schedule, notes).
- Payment information: processed through QuickBooks Online and financial-processing services provided by Intuit. We do not intentionally store full card numbers on our servers; payment records available to us may include transaction references and limited payment details supplied by the processor.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed, and approximate location, collected via cookies and analytics.
- Marketing and communication data: when you click an ad, submit an inquiry, request a quote, contact us through WhatsApp or direct message, or ask us to call you, we may receive your contact details, inquiry details, click ID, and UTM parameters.
How we use your information
- To provide the services you request: VIN decoding, key lookups, scheduling and executing remote programming sessions, processing scanner orders and shipping.
- To process payments and help prevent fraud through QuickBooks Online and Intuit financial-processing services.
- To send transactional emails (order confirmations, session reminders, shipping tracking).
- To respond to your inquiries and requested quotes via WhatsApp, email, SMS, or phone, and to follow up with existing customers about products or services relevant to their request.
- To improve the site and measure marketing performance (page analytics, ad attribution).
- To comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, NASTF reporting where applicable).
Service providers we share data with
- Intuit / QuickBooks Online — invoicing and payment processing.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS S3) — file and image storage.
- NHTSA — public VIN decoding API (no personal data sent, only the VIN).
- Manus — OAuth login provider.
- Meta / Facebook — advertising and conversion measurement via Facebook Pixel.
- Google — analytics and tag management (when enabled).
- Twilio — business telephone calls, caller identification, call routing, and related communications.
- USPS / Pirate Ship — shipping label generation and tracking for scanner orders.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Cookies and tracking
We use first-party cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language preference (EN/ES). Payment pages provided by Intuit may use their own cookies. We also use third-party cookies from Meta (Facebook Pixel for ad attribution), and analytics providers. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the site may stop working.
Phone calls and communication preferences
We may call people who provide a phone number and request contact through our website, quote requests, product inquiries, WhatsApp conversations, direct messages, or an existing customer relationship. We identify Programming Car Pro LLC at the beginning of calls and use calls to answer inquiries, provide requested information, follow up on quotes, and support existing customers.
You may ask us not to call, text, or send marketing communications at any time. We honor opt-out and do-not-call requests and maintain suppression records to prevent further marketing contact. Data retention
- Account data: while your account is active, plus up to 24 months after closure for legal and accounting reasons.
- Order and payment records: at least 7 years, as required by U.S. tax law.
- Session and VIN search history: up to 36 months for service-quality and warranty support.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing info@programmingcarpro.com. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA (right to know, right to delete, right to opt out of "sale" — note that we do not sell your data). If you are in the EU/EEA, you have rights under the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection).
Children
Programming Car Pro is intended for automotive professionals (locksmiths, mechanics, shops). The service is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Security
We use HTTPS encryption across the site, secure HTTP-only session cookies, and industry-standard hosting (AWS). Payment data submitted on Intuit-hosted payment pages is handled by Intuit; we do not intentionally store full card numbers on our servers. No system is 100% secure — please use a strong password and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services evolve or as required by law. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
